Jonty   

 

Jonty was found abandoned in a carrier down by the pumping station last year.

His previous owner left no details about him, so we have no idea of his history, which makes it quite hard for us to establish the type of home he would best suit.

 

We do know that Jonty is a senior citizen roughly about 12yrs old, he has recently being moved into our large communal pen & has really come out of his shell. He can often seen rubbing round the wire if anyone stops to chat to him.

Jonty has surprised us all by being quite bold, he’s also quite a cheeky chap stretching out whilst lying down to “accidentally” poke one of the other cats!

We feel he would best suit a quiet home without young children as initially he can be quite shy.

He may take a little while to settle into a new home so we really need someone who is prepared to take things slowly. With cats that have been in our care for long periods of time it can take them a while to re-adjust.

But it is important to focus on the smallest of improvements as they settle into a new environment. It’s easy to become disheartened if you expect too much too soon.

This lovely chap really deserves a happy ending to his sad story so please consider giving him a place to call home in his twilight years.
